PsyFyi selected finalist by The Captain’s Table

The entire team at PsyFyi is thrilled to announce that The Captain's Table has included PsyFyi as a finalist this year. We’re honoured and can’t wait to attend the event in Hong Kong on the 21st of November. Our CEO Claire Georgeson will be pitching, and the whole team will be rooting for her!


What does The Captain’s Table do?

The Captain's Table is a global organisation dedicated to fostering innovation within the maritime and logistics industries by tackling real industry challenges head-on. Their approach is to help founders of maritime startups succeed by providing them with a vibrant and collaborative ecosystem.


Since 2019 The Captain's Table brings together a diverse community of maritime companies and problem solvers from around the world and facilitates connections between startup founders and corporates, advisors, and mentors.


What is the pitching competition?

The annual innovation and pitch competition, held in Hong Kong, is specifically tailored to the maritime and logistics industry. This platform allows startups to showcase their ideas and solutions, gaining exposure to industry leaders, investors, and potential partners.


PsyFyi was handpicked as one of the 7 finalists that were said to make waves in the maritime sector. Here is a list of the finalists:


  1. Anlan Technology is a marine hull and cargo insurance technology company, that leverages data and cutting-edge AI to safeguard insured vessels and cargos.

  2. AnchorGuardian by Swiss Ocean Tech Ltd. revolutionises anchoring safety with its cutting-edge, patented technology, offering a comprehensive solution to the critical issue of anchor dragging.

  3. Navguide Solutions LLP visualises and gamifies instructions for seafarers in place of conventional checklists using innovative microlearning tools, including short videos, games, pictorial modules and apps.

  4. Fleet Robotics is an autonomous robotic platform for ship hull digitisation & cleaning at sea.

  5. Flyz develops a novel autonomous platform for deploying sensors, devices and packages on vertical walls and other hard-to-reach spaces.

  6. SeaQ by PsyFyi is an advanced data collection tool that enhances onboard safety by identifying both behavioural and environmental risks by asking daily questions to the seafarer.

  7. ShipFinex unlocks a new era in maritime finance – empowering shipowners with streamlined capital access and investors with unique opportunities in ship ownership through blockchain!
