Give Christian a wave

CHRISTIAN AYERST – Business and Growth

Christian began his career in leisure and tourism over 20 years ago and has spent the past 15 years in law and business. He brings a wealth of experience, spanning from practicing law to mentoring and building businesses. He’s passionate about building things from the ground up, with early experiences like spending a summer cleaning tents as a campsite courier in Spain proving to be both eye-opening and character-building.

After putting in long hours at a London law firm, with stints in Greece and Copenhagen, Christian transitioned in-house to a major ship-owning company in Rotterdam.

While pursuing his MBA, he witnessed firsthand the untapped power of data and insights in driving smart decisions. Rather than just reading about it, he chose to dive in and spent the next few years building companies centered around innovative, game-changing technology.

Christian supported Claire in assembling a team of experts to bring PsyFyi to life. Believing that knowledge is power, he seized the opportunity to develop the SeaQ concept to uncover hidden insights and drive better decision-making. Today, he focuses on building a business that is both commercially robust and scalable.

Always practical, he’s helping PsyFyi grow our processes, systems and ways of working in a changing world. He is passionate about using data proactively. Whether that’s enhancing performance by identifying optimal performance conditions, using technology to test, analyse and enhance adoption of processes, or simply as a bridge between two parties – he's excited by the potential SeaQ offers.

Outside of the startup world, Christian is an appalling cook (despite his boundless enthusiasm), and regardless of his best attempts with ChatGPT, he still knows surprisingly little about wine. He wakes up at an unearthly hour and is a nonchalant marathon runner. When he’s not brainstorming lightbulb moments, you’ll likely find him with his three cats.
