NICK PINKNEY, Advisor to the Board at PsyFyi 

Nick brings over 25 years commercial experience driving growth, market expansion, and enterprise value across global SaaS, AI, and data-driven businesses. With deep maritime expertise spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas, focused on creating value for customers. 

His background supporting owners, operators and charterers whilst working in various management positions for Eniram, Wärtsilä, Marcura & Quvia, provides a natural platform for further supporting PsyFyi with its GTM and strategy. 

The human element and better supporting the seafarers is what drew Nick to PsyFyi. Whilst AI and big data is well established in supporting equipment and operating practices onboard vessels; it is apparent that the opportunities to apply similar technologies to crew welfare and the human behavioural side are considerable. From risk mitigation to improving processes onboard, and increasing satisfaction and retention across seafarers, the opportunities for enhancing the human element factors are sizeable. 

In his spare time Nick can be found mountain biking with his daughters, in the gym, and escaping to the south coast of the UK for windsurfing when the wind is favourable.
