With a background in aerospace and bioengineering, Alexis thrives in startup environments, where innovation and agility are the norm. He was instrumental in creating and distributing SeaQ, PsyFyi’s flagship messaging and reporting tool, which serves as the communication backbone for seafarers worldwide. Alexis is deeply passionate about technology and the challenges it presents, constantly working alongside the CEO and COO to implement new features and manage the company’s cloud infrastructure.
💻 Coding has been a central part of Alexis’s life for over a decade, a skill he honed through self-teaching and sheer determination. This dedication to learning and problem-solving is evident in every project he tackles, whether it's refining the software architecture of SeaQ or developing new tools to enhance maritime safety and efficiency.
🛩️ Outside of his professional life, Alexis’s interests are as diverse as they are adventurous. He holds a Private Pilot License (PPL), relishing the freedom and precision that flying offers. Music is another cornerstone of his life; he is always on the lookout for new artists and genres to explore, finding inspiration in the rhythms and melodies that fuel his creativity.
🇦🇷 Alexis is also multilingual, having lived in Argentina for a year where he became fluent in Spanish, adding to his proficiency in French and English. During his time in Argentina, he fell in love with sailing on the Río de la Plata, a passion that continues to this day. His adventurous spirit extends to sports as well, where he engages in a wide range of activities including martial arts like Krav Maga, ensuring that physical challenge and discipline are always part of his routine.
In every aspect of his life, whether it’s in the cockpit of an aircraft, on the water, or behind a computer screen, Alexis is driven by a desire to push boundaries and discover what’s possible, both in technology and in life.
